The Scarperer is a new adaptation of a 1953 novel by Brendan Behan.
This is a new production at the Badhuistheater based on “The Scarperer” Written under the pseudonym ‘Emmet Street’ in the Irish Times as a 30-day series. Two evenings of folk songs and live music, costumes and lights, but essentially books, dramatic readings, and we’re going to make it another Benefit and raise money for medical aid for Ukraine. Yet another fine evening or culture at the Badhuis. For tickets and times see the official page. For more like this, see our handy Amsterdam theatre overview.
