The Golden Coach
The Golden Coach is on display at the Amsterdam Museum. The exhibition of this fabulous carriage, which the King himself opened in June, is a must. The Golden Coach was in restoration for many years and so now looks better than ever before. This is a very popular part of Dutch history. It was for the inauguration in 1898 for the young Queen Wilhelmina. It is very fitting that the carriage is now available again for the public to see in the city where it came all those years ago. Visiting the Amsterdam Museum is always a great idea and now you have one more great reason to make a visit to this great museum in the heart of Amsterdam.
