The Gasworks
The Gasworks is a new exhibition at the Van Gogh Museum which runs until the middle of December. The Dutch artist Artist Marcel van Eeden has always been one of Van Gogh’s biggest fans. Van Gogh’s drawing Gasworks, made in The Hague in March 1882, was a huge inspiration for Marcel. You can see an entirely new series of work, consisting of imposing charcoal drawings on canvas and a series of black-and-white photographs. A wonderful way to see one artist’s work through the eyes and works of another. For more information, see the official page. For more like this, see our handy Amsterdam exhibitions overview.
