Rembrandt-Velázquez

Rembrandt-Velázquez and many other Dutch and Spanish masterworks in the same space in this shared show with the Prado of Madrid. This collaboration celebrates the 200th birthday of the Prado nd the Rembrandt celebrations. At a time when both countries experienced a Golden Age, the Dutch had Rembrandt and the Spanish Velàzquez. This unique collaboration with juxtapose a Spanish masterpiece next to a Dutch masterpiece. The viewing public can draw contrasts, see similarities and highlight differences. It will be fascinating.
