Merry Wives of Windsor is coming back to The Badhuistheatre this February. Another Reckless Shakespeare production. Many think it is probably the only “Farce” that Shakespeare wrote. It is said that Elizabeth 1st absolutely loved the character of Falstaff, who was based on a dysfunctional and drunken Earl. The Earl was also a sort of mentor for Henry 5th as a boy.
