Luther and Oranje
Luther and Oranje – The history of the House of Orange-Nassau is fascinating and the ideas of John Calvin play an important role. The influence of Martin Luther was also massive. From William of Orange, son of Lutheran parents, there have been Lutherans in the family tree of the Royal Family. This new exhibition tells their stories through portraits and documents. There are also many interesting royal and Lutheran possessions. These include two letters from Martin Luther himself. The Luther Museum is a wonderful snapshot of the past and is a joy to see.
