La Cenerentola – Cinderella

La Cenerentola – Cinderella, the classic Rossini opera. First performed to the public in 1817 it did not become a smash hit success until it return to the stage in the 1920’s. This is a great way to see in the end of year festivities. It is suitable for children from the age of 8. There are special prices for children too. The director, Laurent Pelly has changed the wicked stepmother to an evil stepfather. More reworking as there is no carriage or missing slipper this time. Pelly adsd colour and vibrancy to the tale with very bright costumes. A wonderful way to end the year with a fairy tale. For times and tickets, see the official page.
