Giselle Ballet National Opera
Giselle Ballet National Opera – a beautiful and challenging opera first performed in 1841. A tale of love, deception, betrayal and forgiveness. It is one of the oldest ballets and yet it still performed across the world. Giselle is the story of the eating of a count and a peasant girl. He falls in love with her and seeks to control her fate. The story and the beautiful choreography have made this ballet a timeless classic. Rachel Beaujean and Ricardo Bustamante have updated some of the scenes to make it relevant to the 21st century. They have retained all the parts that links it to its time. For more information and tickets, please see the official Giselle Ballet National Opera page here.
