Breaking the Code
Breaking the Code is a play that centres on Alan Turing. He was a British hero who was responsible for cracking the German Enigma code during World War II. He massively helped the war effort and resisted an adherence to the English code of sexual discretion with his homosexuality. Turing was the centre of the Bletchley Park codebreakers. He served his country with his genius before being hounded into hormone treatment and suicide (in 1954) because of his homosexuality.
