Be Brave. An exhibition at the excellent Resistance Museum about the people who helped organise a strike in 1941 to protest against the treatment of the Jews. There is a very good film about it on the website too. The Dutch rose up to take a stand against the persecution by the nazis of the Jewish people in Amsterdam. Willem, Coba and Joop were three Amsterdammers who played an active role in this strike action. Many other people stood up and were brave, but there were prices to be paid. This interesting piece of history can be discovered as a VR experience. See more and a great film on the museum website. See more great exhibitions in Amsterdam in our handy events overview.
