As the name states, the Badhuistheater Amsterdam used to be a free standing public bathhouse first built in 1913. It is classified as a national monument.  For over the last thirty years is has been a theatre right in the heart of Amsterdam Oost. The theatre director for the last few decades is Mike Manicardi. In the theatre he produces and directs many different shows all year long. Also, he hosts many travelling productions that come to Amsterdam.
